Police Chief James A. Case
I would like to welcome you to the Perry Police Department web page.

 My name is James A. Case and I have served the village of Perry as police officer, sergeant, assistant Police chief, and Police chief since September of 1974, the last two years as Chief of Police.  The Perry Police Department consist of 5 full time officers, 9 part time officers, 1 civilian secretary, and myself.  Our department has a long history of service to the community and is proud to be able to "Serve and Protect" our residents.  The department has a police fleet of 3 vehicles and is equipped with state of the art equipment such as radars, computers, tint meters, and alcohol detection devices. 
     The Perry Police Department  is charged with enforcing the laws of the State of New  York along with the Perry Village Code (Copy of Village Code may be viewed from Main Page)  Many services to the public are offered by the department,  a few of which are Lockouts of vehicles, property checks, fingerprinting ($20.00 fee paid at clerks office) along with a variety of other services. 
    It is the Strong desire of our Police department to provide a safe and secure environment for the residents of the Village of Perry, along with other's who come to our Village to visit or are just passing through.  We ask that you respect the laws of New York State and Village and have an enjoyable visit to our historic area. See the Law Enforcement Code of Ethics which the Perry Police Department adheres to.
